This is a technical leadership role with opportunities to influence architecture, mentor engineers, and contribute to high-impact projects in areas such as autonomous driving.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global software developers, application engineers, project managers, and customers;
- Design and configure AUTOSAR architecture components (BSW, MCAL, RTE) using tools such as EB Tresos or Vector DaVinci;
- Develop, integrate, and optimize embedded software for automotive ECUs using C/C++;
- Implement and maintain communication stacks (CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, LIN);
- Perform validation and debugging activities, including unit/component testing (HIL/SIL);
- Analyze system-level issues and perform on-chip debugging using tools such as Lauterbach, CANoe, or CANalyzer;
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers;
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ASPICE and ISO 26262;
- Contribute to software architecture design and continuous improvement of development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field;
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ (Python is a plus);
- Solid experience in embedded systems and software development for automotive applications;
- Experience with AUTOSAR architecture and configuration tools;
- Familiarity with embedded operating systems;
- Knowledge of debugging tools, environments, and methodologies;
- Understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet);
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken);
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural and distributed teams;
- Proactive, committed, and eager to learn.
Nice to Have
- Experience with specific microcontrollers or processors used in automotive systems;
- Exposure to real-time operating systems (RTOS);
- Experience with hardware-software integration and driver development;
- Experience working in Agile development.
What We Offer
- Opportunities to grow through involvement in complex international projects;
- A collaborative environment with knowledge-sharing initiatives and technical communities;
- Meal vouchers as part of your monthly benefits;
- Private medical insurance, supporting your health and wellbeing;
- 25 days of annual paid leave under a full-time employment contract;
