Business Development Manager – Bucharest

Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Manager in Bucharest to drive growth in the Engineering services market. The role is focused on aggressive market penetration, identifying untapped greenfield opportunities and winning new logos in the Engineering services market in Romania. Additionally, the role requires the development of existing clients with high growth potential.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in both domestic and international markets
  • Aggressively pursue and capture market share
  • Schedule and conduct sales meetings and presentations
  • Prepare and present commercial proposals tailored to client needs
  • Organise and close technical interviews with clients
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Track and report sales activity, pipeline, and performance
  • Participate in industry events and networking activities to generate leads
  • Collaborate internally to ensure alignment between client needs and service delivery
  • Contribute to sales strategy, planning and forecasting
  • Ensure achievement of individual and company sales targets

Requirements

  • Technical University degree, software engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a software engineering consulting service provider
  • Results-driven mindset, growth focused
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven experience in client acquisition
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle
  • Advanced level of English (spoken and written)
  • Willingness to travel and meet clients face-to-face
